I stayed here for 2 nights with my husband. Everything about the stay was fantastic. The renovations are great. Rooms were comfortable and stylish. Service was flawless. We spent a lot of time just relaxing around the hotel and bar and everything was enjoyable. When returning to Tamworth we’ll definitely stay here again.
Great food and service to match. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and and pay attention to detail. There is a good selection of wine, spirits and beer available and the atmosphere was nice.It was a good dinning experience and I will definitely be going back.

Having grown up in Tamworth, I remember the old Central Hotel. What a pleasant surprise to find that my wife had booked us into the “CH” and to see what a massive transformation had taken place there. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable, but most of all the location was fantastic. In a town that is very spread out like Tamworth is, it was great to be able to park the car and walk to everything that we needed for the night. Most of the accommodation in the town is not within walking of the restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend.
What a great little place for me to stay when I was last in town for a family gathering. Very welcoming, comfortable, had everything I needed, loved the decor. I was out for most of the days and back in early evening and felt cosy to come back to. All staff were always friendly, however Adam (i think i caught the name correctly) I spoke to more often. He is such an amazing people person. Car park was great and prefer to pay the little extra to know the car is off the street. I would definitely consider your hotel again.
Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel, we are delighted you found the rooms to be modern & clean. We have never had an issue of noise between rooms but we will certainly investigate.
Thank you for taking the time to review CH on Peel, we are delighted you like the renovation and enjoyed the CBD location of the property.
Stayed at the Hotel during the 2015 Tamworth Country Music Festival, as it was one of the few places with last minute, reasonably priced accommodation. It is located on Peel St within easy walking distance to the majority of entertainment venues, Including the Fanzone Stage, Toyota Park, RB Sellars Stage, and pub venues located on Peel St. It is also conveniently located near shops and food. The big attraction of this accommodation is that it is so convenient, and I only used my car on occasion to travel to the Golden Guitar, The Entertainment/ Convention Centre and some of the Clubs. Would stay here again if the price is right.
Stayed for two nights. Rooms are clean and modern (but not the biggest) and beds were comfortable. Location is very central being close to centre of town.Main issue I had was that on the first morning the person in the room next door was up around 5am (I would guess for the 6:30am early flight out of Tamworth). Issue was that you could hear everything that was going on – and I mean everything. Second day was not an issue as I was on the early flight out… but given the prior morning I made sure to be as quiet as possible. Not sure how to deal with this issue other than using the earplugs provided but some will find this uncomfortable and/or will worry about missing their actual wake up time!More
