I wa recommended this restaurant by fellow travellers, and they were right. Beatiful garden and quiet place to eat. Waiters were very attentative and smiling. The food was some of the best I have had in France, so would definitively recommend it.
Hidden in quiet fresh garden where you can watch cook preparing your meal. Meal was excellent (from the starter to the dessert), wine cocktail as aperitif and wide selection of local and other French wines. Service was friendly and perfect.

Our hotel recommended Le Petit Jardin. Walking distance from La Comedie! We were greeted at the entrance and promptly seated. The breaded cod was superb! Highly recommended the grand marnier mousse!! Good wine selection. The place is very romantic that we witnessed an engagement!

The restaurant “Le Petit Jardin” has been an institute of Montpellier for some years. Situated in the heart of the old walls of the city, on a narrow street, to the passer by it may seem like just another building, to enter inside you will discover one of Montpellier best hidden secret garden.

Sadly, the restaurant lost our reservation and the host was not interested in accommodating us despite many empty tables.
